General Dentistry in Los Angeles
When we talk about General Dentistry we have to mention PDT: Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment.
How do we prevent anything from happening?
We recognize the dander and do what we can to ensure the safety and health of ourselves. We know that keeping clean, getting our teeth cleaned and having the right nutrition is a good start. We also have to keep away from dangerous foods like sugar and carbohydrates; we keep away from drugs either legal, over the counter or illegal. We know that drugs alter our minds and body but what do we know about how the chemicals do major harm to our organs which affect our mouth.
We also know that bad habits like smoking, chewing tobacco and even chewing sugar-filled gum and hard candies ravage our teeth. So why do we do it? Most of us try to stay away from danger, some of the run toward danger and many of us just don’t care.
D is for Diagnosis. If you notice your health, your appearance and even experience some pain, we need to know why things are changing. Pain is the body’s way of telling you that things are not the same and please investigate why.
The best thing to do is to listen to your body and take steps to get a diagnosis and treatment. Have X-rays taken, see your doctor and get a treatment plan so that whatever it is does not get worse.
What’s the worst that could happen? Death.
T is very important as well. Treatment is the final steps in your doctor’s office. Our diagnostic team will work with you to come up with the treatment that will prove to be the best for you, your mouth and your overall health.
Treatment also includes changing your habits, completing your treatment and what you do at home.
